Greece

Using a retro check from back pay that my job owed me, I spent three weeks bopping around Greece. I flew into London Friday and spent the weekend hanging with my friend Jemma and visited with Ian and Barney, all good folks I have met whilst on the road. On Monday, I boarded a plane for Athens. My exploring included the Acropolis, an AA meeting, many different cafes and the Athens Zine Library. After Athens, a small plane zipped me over to the island of Milos, in the Cyclades. I fell head over heels for this amazing place. The food- so fresh and delicious, the beautiful varied beaches, ease of getting around, friendly people, no crowds...  Milos set a high bar, that's why I was wholly unprepared for the mob scene on Santorini. Fortunately, I met a cool Swiss girl to hang out with and we checked out the island together. After my weekend in Santorini, I flew back to London. (It was a complete shit sow at the Santorini airport.)

Back to London. Two more eventful days in London. I met up with Rose, a rad person from The Feminist Library and hit up the Notting Hill Carnival with Jemma before boarding my flight for an upgraded business class seat home !
